IronHeart's Herd

The IronHeart Herd represents the next generation of performance genetics at Heartland Bison Ranch. Built around one exceptional herd sire and a carefully selected group of young females, this herd is designed to produce powerful, athletic, and structurally sound bison with the consistency and longevity today's producers demand.

At the center of the herd is IronHeart, a seven-year-old breeding bull personally selected by Kevin from the bull pens at Cold Creek Buffalo Company in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Recognized throughout the industry for developing some of North America's most elite herd sires, Cold Creek has established a reputation for producing bulls that combine exceptional phenotype with proven performance. IronHeart proudly carries on that tradition. IronHeart is an impressive bull known for his exceptional body length, depth of rib, muscular build, and overall structural correctness. He consistently adds power, capacity, and performance to his offspring while maintaining the athleticism and natural efficiency that are essential to the North American bison.

He is bred to a select group of young females originating from Jumpoff Buffalo Ranch and Heartland Bison Ranch. These females were chosen for their maternal strength, sound structure, and complementary genetics, creating a breeding program with tremendous long-term potential.

Although the IronHeart Herd is still in its early years, it is quickly developing into one of the premier groups at Heartland Bison Ranch. With each calf crop, the consistency, quality, and performance of the herd continue to improve, and we are excited about the impact these genetics will have on both our ranch and the producers who choose Heartland genetics for their own operations.

The IronHeart Herd reflects our commitment to building elite bison that combine proven bloodlines with practical performance. The goal is animals that are powerful, productive, and built to excel for generations to come.
